Miami wanted to play a tough, ball control and grinding game vs. the Jets and hence gave the ball to Gore. If they wanted to come out and have big explosive plays, Drake would be used more. I tend to agree with Whicker in that coaches know better than us and we can rely on their judgement, but there's also plenty of political decisions which go on behind the scenes that we don't know about that factor in to who plays and who doesn't as well.
