They’re talking an 8 million dollar raise. That can go a long way into helping your child and family

Is the cost of healthcare an issue for him if he stays lol?

8 million vs nothing? Yes, very significant.

32 vs 40 million when you’ve already earned 36 million? Much less so.

Lol Boston Children’s >>>>

It’s the best peds facility in the country.

So, I worked at Rainbow when I lived in CLE, and I have family who have had extensive interactions with both over the years, and they've confirmed what I always thought, which is that Boston Kid's spends a TON of money to maintain their reputation. They're very good, don't get me wrong. But CLE's system AT LEAST rivals them if not tops them. And Boston Ped's has had a number of high profile cases in the past few years that have started poking a hole in their veneer of perfection (like the little girl who got misdiagnosed by an ER doctor a few years back as having a mental condition instead of the rare genetic condition that her specialists at another hospital had diagnosed her with, and the hospital took custody of her from the parents to protect the ER doctor's reputation, with her condition rapidly deteriorating in their care.)

Anyway, all that to say that regardless of the reputations of the different hospitals, IF he wants to leave Boston, this is one of the best choices as far as quality of nearby pediatric care.

How good is Breeland?  My understanding was as far as true #1 CBs, Johnson, Butler, Fuller, Gaines were all above him.

We need all the help we can get, I'm just curious what people have seen?

Bashaud Breeland is no better than what we had last season. He is no where near as good as Jason McCourty and he's about on par with Taylor and Calhoun. I'd actually much rather role with Calhoun and Wilson because they are young and cheap. There are about 10 other CBs out there I'd rather bring in than Breeland.

In this area of the country Cleveland Hospitals aren’t the best for peds though.   It to say they aren’t good, but there are better options. Or at least options that are more well regarded.

Outside of Boston there’s CHoP, Cincinnati Childrens (spent time here for clinicals personally), Nationwide, UPMC Children’s, and Hopkins, all of whom are viewed as superior overall facilities.

Anywho, my point was never to dig down the rabbit hole of top peds hospitals, but to say the appeal of Rainbow Babies isn’t pulling him out of Boston.

Clinic treats patients poorly. Follows rules set by finance department in engagement and treatment and systemically overbills.

They are run as for profit with non profit status.

UH less so. But :-( having to deal with med issues as a normal person. Especially ped med issues.

Have no clue on non cleve places. TJat above is from personal experience with me and family.

Onto Browns.  Well I think we may be done for a while. Made our moves. Draft. Udfa. Training camp and last minute cuts fa. Then season.
