SteelKing728
Do you guys think Cook will take #24 now that its available (assuming Brock didn't take it)?

I would. Numbers in the 20's are sleek and fast. NUmbers in the 30's are lumbering and slow.

You obviously do not remember seeing OJ Simpson, Marcus Allen and Tony Dorsett play!!

Just think how much better they would have been if they didn't have a number in the 30's slowing them down!

They give the player added toughness and grit 20's give the player extra speed and agility 30's just slow them down and reduce agility.

Yes because his number wasn't in the 30's! And there's just players who are too good to be weakened by their jersey numbers like Sweetness, Juice, Campbell, Asiata, etc. There's exceptions to all the rules! vike daddy
one of the moves Foreman had defied physics. he'd be running downfield with a cornerback or someone coming at him. he would do a fake juke move and then just stop in his tracks. the cb would blow right past him, not able to stop his momentum, and Chuck would take off again. I bet that's the only time that Asiata gets put in the same list with Payton, Simpson and Campbell!!!!

I'll keep looking.... or just go away. it was a slow football morning, so collegial guys, part of a light hearted community, threw some jokes around about running backs and their jersey numbers. if it's truly a problem you need corrected, maybe look for a site you enjoy more. one with lots of lutefisk jokes, or actually the same lutefisk joke over and over. because apparently they are allowed even though we don't have a lutefisk thread, Edited September 2, 2017 by vike daddy
