I absolutely agree with this bro. That 4 game suspension in no way shape or form helps the Packs extra pick last year,  out of curiosity though do you think it could help our pick NEXT year? Asking for a friend.

Congrats on finding a typo?

But anyways, a RB being suspended that was already going to be seeing the field less because of Kamara really doesn't change much for the eventual landing spot of that pick. Not sure why every single Packer fan online made a big deal about something so

They have other backs other than Ingram and Kamara and they drafted a RB in the later rounds. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the other guys unseated Ingram at some point in the season.

Their DL is a bit questionable to me, but I still think they wind up getting a pick in the 20's...

It's not just the RB being suspended it's the domino effect that could take place.

Ingram out --> More Passing --> 40 year old QB regresses/Takes more hits

Why can't Packer Fans be optimistic about the potential of landing a higher draft pick? Losing a player who had 1540 total yards and 12 TDs is not something to just overlook...

I think people are trying to prove that Ingram's numbers last season were rather inflated the last two seasons.

He had a career year last year no doubt, but dating back to 2014 he's had 1100+ total yards every year. He is a valuable piece of their offense, one that becomes more valuable when you have a 40 year old QB.

Saw an analysis that has the Saints #1 at 19.  Sounds just about right to me.  They had a good year.  Doesn't mean they will in 2018.  Difficult  schedule and a lot can happen.  NFC is really tough this year.  They may not even make the playoffs.  Over under is at 8.5 games.  Worst case is they make it to the divisional round and we pick in around 24.  Doubt it tho.

All I know is that next year we better make sure we come away with a stud edge guy or Ed Oliver next season.

I mean, I tend to think that too, but you never know who could develop and what other needs could be apparent a year from now.

We are a Kamara ACL away from a top 10 pick....

See Cardinals 2017 DJ situation.

Or Brees.  Or a couple injuries to their defense.  Or just a bad start that spirals.  Lots of things can kill a season for a team.

We lost Rodgers for most of 2017 and only ended up with number 14 overall.  While many things can cause a season to go down the crapper it will take more than a Kamara ACL to derail the Saints that much to end up in the top 10.
