TMobile gave me my current phone for free as some promo. Didn't read the fine print and didn't know that its not technically free, they bill you over 24 months and credit you back however much the phone is each month for those 24 months. I can't upgrade for free until the phone is halfway paid off, and out of principal I refused to pay to get out of a "free" phone. So I tried waiting for TMobile to pay off half but at like $6 a month, it's taking too long and I'm gonna have to just pay it off. So while I joke about you getting scammed by a Nigerian prince, I get taken to the cleaners by TMobile. I'm literally going to have to PAY THEM to get rid of a phone they couldn't sell and had to give away in the first place. It's actually a brilliant plan by them since they probably have a warehouse of these phones that nobody's gonna buy, but would love to take for free.
