having a crappy backup doesnt make you a good player. Andsaying having less holes to run through isnt really context, saying something like in 2017 he faced one of the lowest %'s of 8 man boxes in the league and now teams have adjusted is. DO you think its really that unusual for elite backs to face stacked boxes? Thats what makes guys like Gurley and Bell so elite, they still produce despite of it.

and the converation ends when you say no one is playing better than Michael thomas right now. The same guy averaging 10 yards a catch. BUT TOTALS BRO. good day sir.

Michael Thomas 48 catches, out of 50 targets...Bro. You sound so salty after yesterday's game haha

Stop what you’re doing and actually watch the guy play instead of reading box scores.

If you’re going to hold Kamara to the standard to guys who regularly get 20 carries per game when doing your box score scouting...perhaps we should hold every RB to Kamara’s standard as a receiver.

wait, so what are we saying? That Kamaras running ability falls well behind his pass catching and hes best used as a 8 to 10 carry guy. Maybe if that? Well, that makes sense. Thats not an elite running back. Kamara is very good at catch passes, he gets huge opportunity to do just that. Is he more special at it then say chris thompson or dion lewis or another elite pass catcher, or is he just getting more opportunity?

i wonder if that has something to do with the kind of routes hes running? What do you think? Oh, and your stats are wrong.

He leads the league in receiving yards. Who the frick carries what routes he’s running...teams can’t stop it. He’s also among the league leaders in TDs. Whatever argument you’re trying to make...it’s weak

that hes not the best wr, or even top 3. likely not top 5. Matt Breida isnt the best running back either to be fair, as much as a georgia southern homer i am. this isnt rocket science, its literally the exact reason why guys lkie wes welker was never really considered top 10 or jarvis landry now or whoever will come next. Maybe thomas if the saints continue to use him this way.

Its not weak, its been used for a bunch of other guys, and rightfully so, used simiarly to how hes been used this year. DO you not  recognize that or do you not care?

Yes...he is significantly better than those other guys. It’s not like the Saints haven’t had a bunch of good receiving backs...Bush, Sproles, Pierre Thomas. None are in the same stratosphere as Kamara. It’s not like defenses are leaving him open...the guy is a superb route runner. Kamara is doing this despite defenses doing everything in their power to prevent it. He’s among the best players in the NFL.

1. its really hard to prevent rbs from catching passes without giving up something more dangerous. You can commit more to flats and underneath stuff but then youre risking downfield.

2. Proof teams are doing everything they can to stop it. Atlanta specifically just doesnt care apparently. They let almost every RB eat them up out of the backfield, see CMC last week.

3. IF youre saying Kamara is an elite, prob the bst pass catching back but shouldnt carry the ball more than 7-8 times. Thats a very reasonable take that id likely agree with. But thats not Bell or Gurley or heck maybe even Gordon if he continues to get better.

It’s cute how you ignore that Bell rushed for 4 YPC last year...like he’s some kind of gold standard for RB excellence. Comparing Gordon to Kamara is a laugher. Come on man.
