Very much this.  Favre was great on finding the tight slant windows, setting up the screen passes, and the game was a bit different then.  

Worst part is we have the lineman to crush it in the screen game.  DBak especially

Nope.  Favre was blitzed even less than Rodgers because teams were afraid he'd just chuck it, and he usually did.  That's not it.
