If Zion were putting up these numbers in the league he'd rank:

PER: 41.8 - 1st (NBA Leader: Anthony Davis 31.00)

TS%: .695 - 4th (NBA Leader: Damian Jones .720)

eFG%: .692 - 2nd (NBA Leader: Damian Jones .716)

ORating: 134.3 - 1st (NBA Leader: Steph Curry 119.6)

DRating: 82.8 - 1st (NBA Leader: Corey Brewer 89.0)

Net Rating: 51.5 - 1st (NBA Leader: Corey Brewer: 24.0)

I don't know how many times I have to say this for you to grasp it...

College. Stats. Do. Not. Matter. In. Evaluations.

Sure, you can take them into account and with context but they are nowhere near the top indicator of talent/success.

Obviously college stats aren't that important in evaluations but from a statistical standpoint Zion is having one of the greatest seasons of all time. Pair that with the fact he's the most physically gifted player to enter the draft since LeBron James 16 years ago and you might be on to something. The only real concern someone could bring up is his shooting, but he's actually flashed as a shooter during ACC play. The "lack of position" concerns are overblown, with the way the league is trending he's the perfect small ball 4 especially with his ability to push the ball in transition. Defensively he'll be able to defend 4's too at 6'7" 270 with a 6'11" WS and elite athleticism.

Yeah, college seasons. The fact you posted his college numbers and ranked those against NBA players...

He's a college basketball player, he's 18 years old, so of course he's going to be playing college basketball... The comparison to the NBA numbers was just to give a reference as to how efficient he has been this year. Obviously I know that there's a difference and statistics aren't the only things used in an evaluation because of the difference in level of competition throughout college basketball. Regardless though, can anyone deny that he's having a great year?

He's one of the youngest freshmen in the country, he'll be one of the youngest players drafted, and he'll be 19 years old throughout his first season in the league. He is consistently labeled as only an athlete and a dunker but the numbers say otherwise. He's doing what an elite prospect should do, he's dominating in every facet of the game as a freshman. His tape is outstanding and his impact is immesurable.

NBA franchises are looking for players with elite upside, who in the draft has a higher upside than Zion? The kid with the best physical profile, best tape, and who just so happens to be one of the youngest players in the class? Even more than that the NBA is still a business first and foremost. Franchises want kids that are marketable and he's without a doubt the most marketable player in the class. I just really can't see how you can deny that he's a special prospect. When was the last time there was a prospect like Zion?

So how come people generally speaking aren't higher on Bol Bol?

Sincerely someone who is ignorant on draft NBA Draft prospects.

cause he is super unathletic lol. also injury concerns

but he surprised me how good he was. I'd probably have him like 5-6 on a BB.

I think he could be selected a lot higher then where he's currently being mocked, it just depends on how he looks in workouts. There are questions about his frame, durability, and mobility. Will he be able to add enough weight to bang down low? Will his frame hold up over the course of a 10+ year career? Is he mobile enough to defend in the modern game where there are a ton of switches?

As Ravens said, it's unknown if he fits in the current game but his upside as a Kristapas/Gobert type of player is definitely intriguing.
