Yep ... McCarthy ain't up for fixing Rodgers.  He's helped fail him .. all season long.

If Rodgers decided he didn't want to play well for MM there's literally nothing he could do about it.

MM probably wants out more than he's wanted out right now, honestly.

Moose Johnston said it best today ... too many vertical routes and not enough easy underneath stuff.  That slant to Davonte was there all day .. what did we see it .. twice? The rookie receivers hit the wall a few weeks back.  McCarthy left Jones on the sideline for large chunks of the game.  It's just a mess all around .. 12 is part of it for sure,  but it's much deeper than just him.  The axe will fall on someone and it's not going to be Rodgers.

Moose Johnston didn't say it best. Moose Johnston regurgitated bunk information.

The slant to davante was not there all day.

If it was Rodgers is one of the worst QBs in the league for not throwing it, then.

Correct. I'd say it's easily 65/35 McCarthy for this disaster. He's the freaking head coach.

Have people missed that there isn't a single team in the NFL that's routinely throwing slants?

We're getting played up on, because we can't beat anybody deep, because Rodgers can't ******* throw vertical.

What does Ron Rivera actually do for us though?

Lol, don't want any part of him. Just curious to see if Murphy is going to say something similar this week or whether it's going to be "well I'm still optimistic about the 2018 season."

If the QB is struggling to make certain throws .. give him things he can hit.  We're not doing that.  Help the QB work his confidence back to where it should be.  12 has been beaten down by this horrible offense.  He's expected to lead this team to the promised land every year, and as soon as he has an off year the whole thing crumbles like a house of cards.

Those throws are there...Aaron is choosing not to throw them!

He actually did throw a number of check-downs today.  His receivers had a lot of drops which helped kills some drives.  Too often there wasn't anyone open quick, and then he'd rollout trying to buy time only to wind up with no one managing to get open.  The rooks have hit the wall .. they are of no use right now.  There were a number of throws where Rodgers was low .. not sure if he's got a weary arm, or just not using proper mechanics.  I have seen him throw off his back foot a lot this year.

Its pretty obvious something is wrong with Rodgers arm.   His throws lack both his normal velocity and accuracy.

He is also playing with a weak supporting cast and a coaching staff that has been having its own problems.

McCarthy has been all over the map recently with his decisions, and the team simply isn't playing hard.   When a play breaks down you see a lot of standing around and laziness.     The plays are breaking down frequently because the OL play has been poor with the injuries to both tackles and the season long lack of talent at guard.

It's a complete mess all around right now.
