The Packers have such an easy remaining schedule that they will have to actively try to lose to not back their way into a playoff birth. Didn't realize that until I used this and surprised myself to see them at 9-6-1 and in the 6 seed.

They wont know its meaningless by the time they flex it.  The game has to be flexed before week 16, probably before week 15 even.  The bears clinch the division, the Vikings clinch the wc, week 16.  Week 17 you have the most epic snf game ever

I don't think such situation would arise...may be for Bears it might be possible as they might have been guaranteed of 3rd seed...but for Vikings, there will definitely be lot of playoff seeding implications (or may be even whether they r gonna make playoffs or not) based on that match
