UM has been playing better football than OSU this year and doesn’t have the holes OSU has on defense. For OSU to win, they would have to play like a different team than they have much of the year. Or, the offense will have to play exceptional, which is tough to ask for against one of the best defenses in the country.

As it damn well should be. Eating leftovers for lunch and watching Michigan/OSU is a tradition that deserves to be preserved forever.

Followed by the losing team’s fan base begrudgingly turning off the television for the remainder of the day and ceasing to care about college football until August of 2019.

How did this game not get primetime. I thought this game was primetime every year. It loses the enthusiasm when played this early

Fans of both schools know that this game is supposed to be played at noon. It might make it less exciting for non-OSU and non-Michigan fans, but anything other than a noon kick would piss off both fanbases

And honestly, who cares about anyone else today?

FCS schools have always been smart about scheduling around real teams. And with LSU A&M at 7:30. OSU Mich can keep their fans happy by having the game early, while allowing those fans out to hit the early bird special at Dennys on the way home.
