I would like to see Rudolph in Jax.

id be fine with it but im leaning towards a day 1 potential starter instead of essentially a 2 year backup then we will see.  i would be okay with picking up a DL even if he wasnt gonna be a day 1 starter because we are gonna have some tough choices to make on the DL with Campbell, Jackson, Dareus, Fowler not to mention extending Ngakoue.

Haven't really done much on this guy, but Tony Pauline just brought up Kalen Ballage in Jaguars Live. For those who may not know, Pauline is pretty tied into this franchise, and was the one person who dropped the nugget of the Jaguars possibly drafting Tyson Alualu in that draft.

Ballage is viewed as an underachiever, but at 6'2 228 and running a 4.46, he could be the type of guy this team looks at. He was also apparently ranked high by PFF, so you know Tony Khan's got his sights on him.

RB (when Fournette misses time)

WR (Lee/Crief injury concerns, Crief on 1 year deal)

OL (Cann is meh and Parnell getting old)

TE (get someone behind ASJ)

DT (get a head start on replacing Dareus/Malik? In a couple years)

SAM (need a guy if they aren’t comfortable with Blair Brown here)

CB (our CB depth is putrid. Who knows if Hayden will work out. This needs to be addressed)

S (Same thing as the DT position. Get a head start on replacing Church/Gip down the road.

Punter (take a P late and replace Northman)

i know we can’t address all of these positions in the Draft but those are the ones I would focus on.

Anybody know our backup CB’s behind our top 3 CB’s.

Tyler Patmon

 Dexter McDougle

Jalen Myrick

Sammy Seamster

Lord, help us if Bouye or Ramsey go down. CB has to be in play at 29.

patmon wasnt bad last year.

Mcdougle was like a 3rd rounder a few years ago so he has some talent.

the more i think about it i think we arent gonna cut/trade Malik Jackson. maybe a restructure but i dont think we let him go as hes in his prime and producing very well.  Dareus i could feel moving on from a cost standpoint but i would start talking to his agent about a restructure.

I am just worried about if Bouye or Ramsey go down. The defense won’t be as healthy as it was last season. Our roster is pretty top heavy, it’s time to start building up that depth. Maybe I am overreacting, it just worries me.

As for Malik, I can agree. Out of all the guys that we can cut coming up to free up $$, which it looks like we will need, he would be one of the last guys I would want to cut.

well i think CB would be a Luxary pick we cant afford. we need to find some hidden gems at CB for depth.  imagine having like 40 million or so tied into 3 corners. it wouldnt be good for us.

if your thinking for a future pick i would consider Nick Nelson. got hurt in a workout but hes pretty good but has like 0 ints or something stupid.

If either of those two go down *knock on wood* there's going to be a significant drop off anyway unless we use the 29th pick if the top corners somehow fall.

I think Malik and aj will be candidates to convert roster into signing bonus next season (similar to telvin) if we need extra wiggle room.

I don't know that Dareus is a candidate for restructure since he has ZERO dead money if we cut and I'm not sure he's going to come down in price enough to make that feasible trade off.

I feel like we are in play for all of that. Makes it interesting since we were so successful last year. Hopefully that means we dont reach on someone. Funny you left off QB but mentioned DT/S just in case

Kaare Vedvik is a Punter we seem to be interested in. hes a projected 7th-FA

Apparently this guy had a 92/3 yard punt this year.  longest punt since ray guy

Longest punt isn't a factor to me. Did he have some hang time with it? I mean if you outkick your coverage by like 30-40 yards it doesnt matter. All punters for the most part can boot it long, maybe not 90 yards but i would think most can get after it
