I honestly didn't think that level of play was possible with the talent we have on defense, they all looked like All-Pros out there. Love you Flores, but I hope you don't replicate this defense in Miami next year. And that’s with losing Chung halfway through. I know the Rams lost Kupp and Gurley got the yips (or whatever this train wreck of a situation is) but holy crap, this was amazing.
RandyMossIsBoss
Yes... that was an all time great defensive performance against one of the best offenses in the NFL. He’s not exactly dealing with a stacked roster either. B.B. is basically a cheat code, I am certain this dynasty does not end until he is dead or too demented to coach. I really don't want to sell those guys short because the secondary was amazing, the linebackers were brilliant and the pass rush was dominant; however, I think that was just an all-time bad coaching performance by McVay. The Rams didn't make any adjustments all game... which is baffling and Jared Goff can't move around in the pocket and deliver accurate balls under pressure. If the Rams had a functioning offense/QB they probably win that game.
Plat2
McVay and Goff was seeing ghosts out there...its up there with the finest defensive performances for sure, complete domination.
childofpudding
As bad as his coaching was last SB, that's how good it was this SB. Only allowed 3 points to that offense, and it was a 53 yard FG. Freaking unreal
CKS97
Flores is just another Patricia and another Crennel- a Belichick puppet.

Rams made adjustments, lots of them actually but Goff was playing at such a bad level that McVay couldn't do much more to help him.

Yes, if the Rams had a functioning offense the outcome of that snooze fest last night might have been different.
Art_Vandalay
Great game plan by Belichick, no doubt. But Goff was abysmal. I actually think Wade did a better job. Holding Brady to 13 despite the defense being on the field basically the entire time is pretty remarkable.

Both the young guys got schooled. I just love how all year people are crying that there is no defense and stuff...then we get it and we still complain. Lol funny. People cried flag football after the Rams vs Chiefs game and now the worst SB of all time because of the low score. You have to tip your hat to both defensive staffs. Completely dominated the game. Yup I enjoyed the game. Defense and special teams made a huge difference. Both Punters had some insanely good punts as well. And the game came down to Brady being able to get that touchdown, and Goffs lack of experience leading him to a pick. Great game.
