Windhorst said last night that he has heard Kawhi to the Clippers for a while and if he had to guess he still thinks that's where he's going, so... If LeBron's butt buddy that licks his feet after games is saying it, there's probably some truth too it.

Windhorst has been out of the loop with LeBron for a while now...

Yeah you can only guess where he is going to go based on his previous decisions and background.

I’ve been saying the Lakers because of the legacy standpoint. He can play for his home area, raise his daughter in La, and know he can be competitive with AD for the foreseeable future.

Hes not going for the super team. He’s going because it’s the best fit for his lifestyle.

Based on what previous decisions? Other than rumors he wanted to be a Laker last summer he has played for 2 small market teams, seemingly enjoyed his time there, and won titles.

Laker exceptionalism has morphed into Laker insecurity and the whole league thinks it's hilarious.

You think it's any coincidence that Woj has been routinely wrong time and time again this offseason?  First, it was there was no way the Pelicans would accept the Lakers junk.  Then it was the fact that Pelinka didn't understand the cap ramifications of the Anthony Davis trade.  Then it was there was no way that Pelinka would find a 3rd team to create max cap space.  Time and time again, it's proven Woj doesn't have a source inside the Lakers.  Meanwhile, he's been the Clippers' mouthpiece about how they're a perfect FA destination and what do they have to show for it?  So far, they've re-signed Patrick Beverley to a 3 year, $40M deal and they took Mo Harkless in a salary dump as part of a Jimmy Butler S&T.

That's comical.

She took over one of the most storied franchises in all of sports and turned them into a bottom feeder. Hired Rob P because he was Kobe's agent and hired Magic because he was an All-Time Lakers great, despite neither guy really being a good fit. Supported hiring Luke Walton and then supported hiring Frank Vogel... Not to mention the team is 163-329 (.331) since she took over but okay.

He resigned as a Spur then also requested a trade from there.

1. He wanted to stay and win with a team who was championship caliber.

2. He wanted to be around people he could trust and that believed in him. He wasn’t going to stay with a team just to stay with a team.

3.  Played hard for Toronto even if he wasn’t sure if he was staying. Valued his legacy and true basketball.

Yep. Lost her a lot of respect.

Really the league needs to examine how it wants to approach the age of player empowerment. Consumers want the info on where stars are going....obviously the reported information is reliable from the top guys, but it's reporting on what an individual chooses to do in the future....it's something that can change.

It's starting to take away from the product a bit. I think player movement is great for the league and the guys should have more power than ever before on choosing their destinations. But it also is obviously driving the players crazy and the actual game is being appreciated less. I have no idea how this is going to change, but it's the issue at hand.

Lakers twitter has turned into infowar twitter (it's embarrassing) but the more interesting thing (rather than who is leaking to who etc) is how the league wants to approach the coverage of player movement. And how the players want to handle it.
