beekay414
Might be time to promote him to high A.

beekay414
We have JBJ just sitting on the bench and an OF costs us a game. Like, what's the ******* point of having JBJ if he's not coming in for those situations? What a god damn waste of scarce money for a small market team. titans0021
It’s probably time to just write off the Daniel Norris experiment as a failure and move on.

He's an interesting bat and was a great pick with that last 5th in 2020. Problem I have is that he's 22 in Low A. That's fine, obviously, after what happened last year but I'd like to find a spot for him in Appleton for these last few months at least. Either way, doing .276/.391/.478 with 13 HR and 22 SB is promising from a mid-rounder like that. EDIT - Finally. Well, he will indeed have to go through the 3-6 gauntlet of ............checks notes.............Ian Happ/Patrick Wisdom/Greg Deichmann/Frank Schwindel. I didn't know Frank Schwindel was a real person until the Cubs brought him up from AAA.

Your 3-4 could be Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble and it wouldn't matter if Ashby couldn't find the plate lol.
incognito_man
Well that was a clutch 2-strikeout finish
R T
Burnes ties the MLB record for consecutive strikeout with 10, before this season Tom Seaver in 1970 was the only other player to do it. Now their are 3, Burnes and Aaron Nola have both did it this season.
