Run with that and see where that gets you. Stop putting Freindships or Kinships b4 the obvious. Rivera just was in the SuperBowl 2 or 3 seasons ago, Allen was there during Rich Gannon last year's! While Beinemy has never been there!

But. Beiniemy has never been FIRED because he sucked. While Ron was fired this very month for that reason.

Ron didn’t suck, the team fell apart bc of injuries. That happens. It remains to be seen if their new aggressive owner is made a smart move or he just made a horrible mistake by firing a coach who was a few plays away from winning a super bowl.

The Panthers didn't give him that excuse when they fired him.  The Redskins gave that to Jay Gruden when Alex Smith went down.  Kyle Allen has performed better than any of our QBs from last year.

Kyle Allen isn't a FRANCHISE QB. Panthers wanted to go a different direction and now so are the Skin's. I'm not salty about hiring Rivera. He has the mindset this team needs. Toughness, The Truth, and Leadership.

But the results were three winning seasons in nine years, same as Bruce Allen.  That's what I care about, results, and with a whole lot of talent, he didn't get good results.

Bears went to the Super Bowl with Rex. Ravens won a Super Bowl the same year they broke the record with 20+ quarters without a TD. Bill went to the playoffs the season Brady got hurt.

Ron. A Defensive Guru had his defense ranked in the 20s this season. Without a guy like Cam covering his inability, his inability shines. And he was fired for it.

But its a joyous day. Good enough to where Im happy to give him a shot since Bruce wont be elbow deep, working Rons mouth like a puppet.

With the players we have I don't see why he wouldn't be able to get this defense to reach it's Full Potential. Also with a talented QB like Haskins we seen the offense going in a upward direction the more he got comfortable in the system. The defense will be a 4-3 D next year IMO, witch suits our best Defensive Players better.

The Redskins current coaching staff is expected to be relieved of their duties today, with the possibility that a few assistants, and possibly Offensive Coordinator Kevin O'Connell are retained. Greg Manusky has been on his way out since the team tried replacing him last year, but no one agreed to sign on for Jay Gruden's lame duck season.

Michael Phillips reports that Ron Rivera plans to bring Steve Wilks to Washington to be the new defensive coordinator for the Redskins.

KO'C and Wilks as the Cords would be nice. Keeping KO'C is big. And Wilks has produced some top 10 defenses. He was around 9 when leaving Carolina, and Carolina this year was 23. It shows hes knows what hes doing.

Hopefully. I don't think Cleveland was kind to him this year, but that could be a product of Cleveland - the organization that keeps us from wearing the most dysfunctional crown.
