NVRamsFan
A safety is right there with QB and RB as our least likely first pick. Any of the OLine edge or LB would be good there.

MOSteelers56
Bad Steelers pick. We just spent a ton of draft capital to take Bush last year. No way we take another MACK ILB with our first pick. I'd say Ruiz, Kmet, maybe a RB, Claypool or Reagar, really anyone but an ILB.
flyguy1609
would love if the lions traded down a few spots and still got Simmons. im not a fan of Gross-Matos. maybe its me. depending of Fa, either Diggs, Jackson or Peart would be a better pick in the 2nd imo.
tredaddy
Really cool you brought up the scenario of Ngakoue that I didn't even think about. Really think though WAS wants to spend their cap this year on much more pressing needs like TE and MLB. OT will also be a big position of need if Trent ends up leaving. What led you to believe that safety was a major need for the Rams? Yes, Weddle retired - that was a blessing in disguise. Taylor Rapp was our best performing rookie last season and John Johnson is a young, (deserved) former Pro Bowler who is returning from shoulder injury that took him out Week 2 of last season. Ruiz, Okwara, Uche, and a litany of others would all be more likely. Also, the Chargers aren't going to take a QB just to take a QB. They might have interest in Love, but if a team trades in front of them (after another team has already traded up for Tua), Tom Telesco has shown that he moves on to other value. Passing on having their pick of an outstanding OT class to reach for the 4th QB in the class would be monumentally dumb.

ReadyToThump
No thank you to Zach Baun in the 1st round. And this is coming from a Badger fan lol.
BayRaider
Thanks for the hard work. In future mocks please give us Queen over Murray. Almost no Raider fan prefers Murray.
FalconFan13
Not sure how i feel about trading up for Kinlaw although i do like him. Not even a month or 2 ago he was considered a guy that would be our pick at 16 most of the time. He moved up alot into the top 10 over 2 months and im not sure if he is worth giving up a extra pick for in the 2nd round or not. I do like him better than anything we could get at 16 for sure though so it's not a horrible pick by any means. I feel if we had to trade up and give up our 2nd round pick to do so it would have to be for 1 of 2 players falling close enough in Simmons or Brown who have always been legit top 5 to 10 picks to me. As for the 2nd round pick i have said it before and i'll say it again CB wouldn't be a smart or wise pick for us based on what we have already at CB and the money tied up there with us having real legit needs on this team. CB is not a need this offseason it's more of a luxury which with as many holes as we have at positions we actually don't have players at that shouldn't be a waste of a pick to do so. The needs we have are OLB, DE, RB, and LG Thos are actual needs where we don't have competent players there or at some positions no players at all there. CB we actually do have talent at and a number of players that are young that need experience. Trufant absolutely can't go anywhere and played like a true #1 CB last year. His contract makes it impossible to move him this offseason with a 10+ mil dead cap hit. So based on your draft and who's available i would be willing to offer a extra 4th or 5th round pick next year on top of the 2nd this year to go get Derrick Brown 1or 2 picks higher instead of settling for Kinlaw but if thats not enough i guess Kinlaw is fine there. Although i think we over payed a little for a guy of his talents based on where he was just a few weeks back but as said still better than whats at 16 for sure. Then in the 2nd round J.K. Dobbins RB is where we should go since i don't even see him in the 1st 2 rounds for some reason even though he's probably the best RB in the draft Now if you can tell me we can get Dobbins in round 3 then i'll back off on this pick and target Uche, Harrison, Cushenberry, Ruiz, or Niang for DE, LB, or LG/C spot. Also this is a Clemson guy telling you to pass on a Clemson CB in Terrell that i like alot thats how strongly i feel about CB's being taken this early over other real needs. Ya NO Chance that kind of trade happens LOL. 2 first round picks and 2 second round picks plus a late round pick to move up 3 spots for a rookie QB with a fractured hip, that will likely be available at pick 5. I also noticed how the Skins landed Ngokue for light compensation. I smell a Redskins Fan.
badgers0821
Am I crazy or are you saying Alshon Jeffery is worth negative draft capital? I can’t see Taylor lasting to 57 after his combine. I actually like the Baun pick as the Packers need a LB that can cover, it was our biggest weakness on D last year.

Jeffrey's contract and healthy are the reason for his negative compensation.
