My understanding is that they have stated that the actual real players attributes cannot be changed but as far as cpu generated players and team builder the exact details are still unknown. And no I still don’t care. I have never gone in and changed attributes in NCAA or madden. Never will. They left editing out because they were sued over this before and we lost the ability to have a college football game for a decade because of it. That is completely understandable. Any individual or company is perfectly within their right to protect themselves from lawsuits. Ya'll have got to stop saying this, because it isn't true. It isn't a thing. Maybe ya'll are thinking of 2K. You can spend money to improve the ratings of your MyPlayer, but that's it. This isn't a 2K game. Spending money on XP has never been a thing in Madden and it isn't a thing in this game. Ultimate Team is the only area where you have an opportunity to spend money. I'm sure there will be a learning curve but I think it will be fun to share the experience with others. I've seen some gameplay and it looks super similar (Of course a football game is still a football game), but what makes it so different other than teams/players/conferences? I guess on the surface I can see what you mean, but there are so many small things I've noticed in this game that Madden doesn't have or never has had. Not perfect and still a lot of flaws, but it isn't the worst part of the game. So a lot of the excitement from people who have played Madden comes from how much content they have added and the improvements to presentation, because that is where Madden fails the most. Madden is never able to match the atmosphere of an NFL game, whereas this game looks like it nailed the atmosphere of a college game. I'd highly recommend reading the rest of the deep dives that cover Dynasty, Road to Glory, Ultimate Team, etc. All that alone gives it more replay value than Madden IMO, nevermind the gameplay.
