TecmoSuperJoe
I also forgot about Gus Frerotte. Solid backup. Nothing more, nothing less. Same with Jon Kitna.

Elky
Not necessarily a favorite, but how the hell did Kerry Collins have such a long career? Nearly drank himself out of the league and was consistently outperformed by Steve Beuerlein. Was mostly bad throughout his career and his best was a mediocre stretch with New York...with Sean Payton calling plays. Went to one Pro Bowl...in his 13th year and threw 12 touchdowns. Malik
Kurt Warner and Trent Green. Both pretty old guys that didn't get a chance to start until way late into their career.
TakeTheBallDeep
Jeff Garcia, the dude was exciting to watch. Had a little “Favre” style to him (not as good obvi) and had some decent years really with the 49ers

Maybe it was so serious that Fisher was begrudgingly covering up for Volek and the organization. Assuming Fisher isn't just fabricating drama out of thin air. He just kept saying things like “Totally unprofessional and threw his team under the bus” and things of that nature. Pretty wild to just cut your presumptive starter like a week before the season lol
TheBeast23
Charlie Whitehurst “Clipboard Jesus” MVP and greatest back up of all time. Never has a back up been so cool.

Daniel
It's gotta be that Fitzmagic. But Kerry Collins/Matt Hasselbeck are there too, since they had good seasons with Tennessee more recently than Volek.
