MKnight82
CUTS - FINAL 53 ROSTER - YEAR 5 I have to cut 11 players, some of those can head to the Practice Squad. HB La'Mical Perine (70) - CUT - He doesn't contribute. HB T Watkins (65) - CUT - He's out of PS eligibility. WR Dante Harrison (68) - CUT - He's out of PS eligibility. TE Jesse Matias (67) - PS - He's 23. LG Cameron Clark (72) - CUT - I've replaced him with draft picks. RT Jimmy Simmons (63) - PS - He's 24. RE Zeke Watkins (69) - CUT - He's out of PS eligibility. RE Michael Branch (65) - PS - He's 23. LE Dontrell Gay (72) - CUT - he's the last cut I made. I'm just out of roster spots. *TRADE* Ravens Receive DT Alan Reynolds (81) NY Jets Receive Future 2nd Round pick He was the 2nd first round pick I took in my first draft. He's up for a contract extension this year. He has 9.5 career sacks, and never had more than 4.0 in a single season. No forced fumbles in his entire career. He's just not worth extending. Still, he's still just 25 years old and he's the 23rd OVR DT in the league, so he has some value. The Ravens drafted a Star DE last year and their top DT is a 74 OVR. He will be a good fit for them. *TRADE* Cardinals Receive LOLB Blake Cashman (76) NY Jets Receive Future 4th Round pick He seems too valuable to just cut. I've drafted a bunch of linebackers and someone had to go.
MKnight82
TRADE DEADLINE UPDATE I'm an impressive 4-2 at the deadline. No reason to rock the boat, no trades this year at the deadline.
MKnight82
Contract Negotiations LT Mekhi Becton (89) - 5 year deal, $8.0 mil salary, $7.50 mil SB, $11.9 Y1 cap hit ($77.3 mil Total Contract) - He's still only 25 years old and one of the best players on my roster. WR Johnnie Ferguson (87) - 5 year deal, $7.5 mil salary, $4.35 mil SB, $8.47 Y1 cap hit ($59.0 mil Total Contract) - He's a really good starting WR. HB Gabriel Turbin (83) - 5 year deal, $2.7 mil salary, $1.10 mil SB, $2.57 Y1 cap hit ($18.8 mil Total Contract) - He's been a disappointment, but he's still just 24 years old and this is a pretty cheap extension. MLB Jamie Wofford - 3 year deal, $4.0 mil salary, $2.65 mil SB, $5.62 Y1 cap hit ($19.8 mil Total Contract) - He's a decent starter, eventually I'd like to upgrade him but for now he's worth keeping around. He's already 26. RT Donnell Kendricks (79) - 5 year deal, $4.0 mil salary, $3.35 mil SB, $5.53 Y1 cap hit ($36.5 mil Total Contract) - He's still only 24 years old and a decent starter. WR Brandon Bridge (78) - 3 year deal, $2.0 mil salary, $1.55 mil SB, $3.02 Y1 cap hit ($10.5 mil Total Contract) - He's a solid depth WR. I debated this contract because I can't retail everyone, but this isn't that expensive. CB Thomas Blades (77) - 4 year deal, $2.0 mil salary, $1.15 mil SB, $2.41 Y1 cap hit ($12.4 mil Total Contract) - He's developed into a good backup CB. He's 25. ROLB Duke Gaddis (75) - no offer - He's solid but I can replace him with a draft pick pretty easily. TE Richard Bradshaw (75) - 3 year deal, $2.5 mil salary, $1.65 mil SB, $3.49 Y1 cap hit ($12.3 mil Total Contract) - He's a good backup. 24 years old. SS Dion Burton (66) - no offer - I can draft a replacement. DT Deon Carruthers (72) - 2 year deal, $1.2 mil salary, $950k SB, $1.95 Y1 cap hit ($4.2 mil Total Contract) - He's solid depth. 24 years old. QB Sergio Hancock - no offer - It'll be cheaper to draft a backup.
titans0021
I do Madden rebuilds every year, I’m not sure I’ve had a QB finish with more INTs than TDs in the last five years. Trubisky should be proud.

JBURGE
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I kinda like the drafts being a lot more random. It gets so boring when you know exactly what to look for. I like that these early picks are more of a risk like in real life. It's frustrating I'm sure, but you've gotten good players in the 2nd, 3rd, even 6th rounds. I like that The QB being top 5 and a 3rd round talent is kinda dumb. I would have liked to see him be a 3rd round projection and talent and be an X Factor (once in a blue moon). The only thing that could make rosters a little more realistic (and again, would be super frustrating) is to have more year to year progression/regression swings. We see it all the time IRL. Players rise and fall real quick, or switch teams and bottom out. Would be super frustrating to see your start 95 OVR player regress 10 points suddenly, but it would follow real life a little better. What isn't realistic is the 2 point progression every single year through their 20's, then regress at a steeper pace through their 30's. It shouldn't be that predictable, is what i'm saying. HB Turbin has proven he is not a starting RB. Idk what happened with the receiving stats. Mims went nuts despite playing less snaps than Ferguson and Slay. TE Archer had his best season yet. The defense is just sad. I can't get any big plays. This is the 2nd season in a row I've caused zero forced fumbles (as an entire team). My sack numbers are pathetic. DE Irons isn't doing anything.
