dante9876
So Gruden talk about inside pass rush all off season. So why are we spreading our front four so wide.

Sooooo dynamic. They've driven down the field and scored on every possession.

It's ok tho, we signed Nassib too and something something cap space for the future (that won't be used) something Ferrell something something Brent Schaeffer! agarcia34
Hopefully Ruggs is able to come back. Loved what Gruden was doing with him. But got to get Edwards the ball.

G
I like what I saw in the first half and here's why... Defense has A LOT of new starters and there wasn't a huge break down in communication. It's bend don't break and will be good enough to slow Offenses down.In time it will tighten up but the speed and coverage looks a lot better. Pass rush is still lacking and Crosby getting mauled should get called especially with Morrow's PI but whatever. Offense has a lot of options and we saw Ruggs getting featured as the new toy and he got hurt. Blame coaching on that and Witten pass in red zone. Trying to justify what you've got but instead we overuse that weapon. Looked really conservative before feeding Ruggs and was hoping they'd get away from that but too late. Still have options but you got to keep your weapon on the field for it to be a threat.

agarcia34
Also have to take more passes down field. Panthers secondary is just as raw as ours. Force them to make a play.

Our D being hot garbage doesn't make Carolina particularly dynamic. Looks more like we unsurprisingly have zero pas rush, a collection of mostly pretend LBers, and underwhelming secondary complete with atrocious play calling that literally gives up 5-10 yds per play before the ball is even snapped because it's softer than a handful of shaving cream. DJ Moore is one of the best young WR's in the league, McCaffery is arguably the best weapon in the league regardless of position, and Robby Anderson is basically a better version of Tyrell Williams.
