Is there any reason why the Bears seemingly refuse to give Ryan Nall carries?

As it is, When healthy, their ‘top’ backs all suck, but now they’re injured, and the Bears still would rather give carries to a wide receiver then Nall.

If Nall is that bad to where he can’t even get a couple carries per game, let alone fill in for a game where every other RB is injured, then why is he on the team?
