He did nothing to improve an already back to back SB winning franchise. He collected a trophy on Jimmy Johnson's coat tails (much like the wayyy over rated Payton Manning collecting one with Denver), and the franchise hasn't gotten close to a SB since his departure. Imo, the measure of being successful at anything you are hired to manage is that you leave it better than the way you found it.
