These are the only guys left who I have any interest in, in no order: CB Robert Rochell TE Noah Gray LB Paddy Fisher TE Tre McKitty LB KJ Britt CB Marco Wilson DL Mustafa Johnson I excluded some WR and OL just because our depth is already filled. onejayhawk
I'm glad we got Yeboah. he seems to be pretty versatile. So, consider him covering the H-back/FB weakness. If we need a 4th TE, that's where UDFAs come in. Sage Surratt is still on the board. He may be BPA at this point. In a similar TE-at-WR vein, Trevon Grimes. Whop Philyor is available. A RB to push Thompson is reasonable. Darrel Williams is our most straightforward single-cut runner, but he isn't big. That is the direction I would look. There is no such thing as too much pass rush, so a developmental Edge would work. Ogundeji is still on the board. A big DT, to push Saunders. It looks like the Titans timed out or something, They wound up with a K rated UDFA. Edited March 8, 2021 by onejayhawk
RedGold
FA Round tonight; I'm bidding on LG - Beau Benzschawel - No affect on cap. 3rd string LG RB- Bo Scarborough - Comp for Darwin Thompson. No affect on Cap. CB - Trae Waynes - I'm throwing the rest of our Money at him. 2 other teams bidding on him. Doubt we win, but why not. He was cut recently, so he's just getting bids now. onejayhawk
Go for it. Bledsoe has been taken. At this point Ogundeji and Surratt (WR) seem BPA. Both are redundant to other picks, but two shots at one target can be very effective.

onejayhawk
Oh well. He wasn't my first choice anyway. I'm not impressed by Vaughns or Ausbon. Does anyone know much about Marlon Williams? Anthony Hines is worth a look at this point, but i would prefer to see if he slides further. J Edited March 8, 2021 by onejayhawk
RedGold
RB: Khalil Herbert, Chris Evans, Pooka Williams, Demetric Felton, Gerrid Doaks WR: Dez Fitzpatrick , Josh Palmer, Eli Stove TE: Noah Gray, Quintin Morris, Luke Farrell, Pro Wells OL: Carson Green, Cordell Volson, Drake Jackson, Dan Moore Jr., Sadarius Hutcherson DL: Adetokunbo Ogundeji, Shaka Toney, Malcolm Koonce, Janarius Robinson, Jordan Scott, Dante Stills, Jerome Johnson, Quinton Bohanna LB: Anthony Hines, Paddy Fisher, Isaiah McDuffie, Derrick Barnes. CB: Bryce Hall, Tre Norwood, Robert Rochell S: JaCoby Stevens, Damar Hamlin, Darrick Forrest, Reed Blankenship, Rodjay Burns, Dwyane Johnson Are a few that I think should go around here. Felton/Pooka would be fun (though both are too small to handle a RB workload). WR Dez Fitzpatrick, TE Noah Gray, DE Adetokunbo Ogundeji. Not sure where they'd fit, but those are the top 3 imo. Paddy Fisher is interesting, not sure he has what he takes to be a starter... but if we want a thumper/ST guy.. he fits the role. I still like Damar Hamlin or Darrick Forrest as #4 Safeties. Bolded are probably my favorites at each spot.

That's a very, very lofty expectation though. More so talking about his style. Not very fast, looks more like a RB. Once the ball is in his hands, he's a powerful dude to bring down. Finding out where to play him, and getting him open downfield will be the biggest issues with him.
KC_Guy
It's a crap shot now anyways. Any guy drafted from here on out even making the roster year one in some sort would be plus. Don't like the Watts/Brown combo at DB, but tere are quite a few guys behind them ... and the team won't keep 10 DB on the 53. So getting a ST guy here might be the way to go .. or even a developmental QB to place on the PS for a year. Not sure Ta'amu will develop into a backup some day. RedGold
I’d say: DE/LB CB/S Would be the best options in the 6th. Both are more ST spots and the position is interchangeable. Losing O’Daniel to a DE spot is still just losing ST’s. Same for Watts/Brown. Though if we get Wayne’s at CB, I’d bet we’d keep 10 DB, with 6 CB and 4 Safety. That’s not too unpopular. I think we usually go into the season with 10 DB.. I’m not 100% on that but I think so.
onejayhawk
You know who I like--Ogundeji. Of the DB--Bryce Thompson, Tre Norwood, Manny Rugamba, JaCoby Stevens, Tariq Thompson. All have their flaws. J
RedGold
Fisher and Ogundeji are gone. Anyone opposed to Drake Jackson C, I don’t know where he fits. But he’s better than a 6th round pick. @KC_Guy @kingseanjohn @onejayhawk WR Dez Fitzpatrick WR Josh Palmer LB Isaiah McDuffie LB Anthony Hines LB Derrick Barnes CB Robert Rochell CB Bryce Thompson S Damar Hamlin S Darrick Forrest are possibilities, LB and DB rooms have more room to make

Just not sure how he fits on the 53 man. And if they aren't likely to make the roster, why blow the pick? Although it could make for a more interesting discussion I guess for trimming to 53. I'm good with whoever from here on. Although I believe we need a CB to develop. 2022+ looks real rough in that area. I guess we could just anticipate drafting an early CB next draft. Also looks like everyone is sleeping on Mustafa Johnson. Would be curious to see everyone's thoughts on him.
