NBA 2020-21 Season - Game Day Thread (Bring Back The Wolf Pit!)

the lone star

Recommended Posts

Chris Paul is shooting 51% on catch and shoot 3s this year (tho he refuses to take them unless he gets treated like Andre Roberson).

Still not as good as the best CP on the team, Cam Payne is shooting 54% on C&S 3s.

Galloway is also above 50%.

So 3 out of 4 of the Suns guard rotation is shooting above 50%

He doesn't outside of lots of injuries. He tanked over 10% of the season and he's not even the best player on his team.

The best player of the team has barely played this season. So that ain’t really relevant in this case. That tanking be did happened in an irrelevant point of the season. To say he has no chance is ridiculous especially if the Nets are #1 seed. His chances now are as great as ever.

He has a chance if all the other top contenders miss time.

No point of the season is irrelevant.

The MVP is in the East but he doesn't play for the Sixers or Nets, tbqh.

Bucks 11-1 Stretch
31.4 PTS, 12.3 REB, 7.6 AST, 1.3 BLK, 1.1 STL, 3.6 TOV on 57.4/34.9/78.0 in 35.3 Minutes

Post All-Star (5-0)
29.2 PTS, 11.8 REB, 10.2 AST, 1.0 STL, 0.6 BLK, 3.8 TOV on 60.0/41.2/86.1 in 35.6 Minutes

Voter fatigue, zero chance they give Giannis a third straight MVP.

Doesn't make it any less true. Voter fatigue is the dumbest excuse in sports. It's the only reason LeBron didn't get 5 straight.

And, I don't care. Giannis is still the MVP regardless of who they vote for.

Should be Rudy Gobert, best player on the best team, but we aren't ready for that conversation...
