LinderFournette
The jags sucked early on after the expansion as we were pretty much in cap hell. It also doesn't help that the team has blown 3 top 10 picks on qbs in thst time(lefty, gabbert, bortles). Hard to win without a qb.
Hunter2_1
I think it's hilarious that Jacksonville win when they **** block their QB and ask him to NOT throw. Bortles, just write it off as a bad job. Try baseball.

TheMonarch1110
Expand the criteria a few years and that number goes up to 3. It has just been a bad division where no teams beside Indy have had consistent QB play year in and out to make them a threat.
Iamcanadian
It is rather simple really, with Luck's injury, the Division has simply lacked elite franchise QB's and you are not going to the SB too often without them.

It's not even the only division at that same total. For reference, here's a breakdown by division: AFC West: 3 AFC South: 2 AFC North: 4 AFC East: 6 NFC West: 5 NFC South: 5 NFC North: 2 NFC East: 3 The NFC North has been the same amount of times and it's been almost as long (a one year difference.) The AFC South actually hasn't been THAT bad over that 15 year stretch. They have over the last 6 or so, but it's really not anything outside the norm for a lesser NFL division. Some division is always going to be worst. (It's kind of mind blowing that the Packers only have one superbowl appearance in that time frame.) This. But also because they've been pretty bad for the most part.
.Buzz
Patriots/Steelers/Broncos along with the Colts while Manning was there. Just a really dominating top of the AFC. Plus, the Titans and Jaguars are relatively new'ish teams, but also have had a very rough last decade and never had that elite franchise guy to get them there. Texans are still relatively new, but it's pretty easy to see why they haven't made it (QB play).

We made the playoffs 96, 97, 98, and 99.

Actually, the Colts have been as dominant (making playoffs) as often as the STeelers and Broncos in the SB era. The Pats are just new kids on the block the last 15 years. The Pats will die soon and the other 3 will cycle up again and again.

Yeah, was mainly talking about the last 15 years though as we're just talking about the AFC South, so after the new divisions.
