Plus, you already drafted his replacement investing a 1st round pick and have started the clock on that guy already. You've already screwed this up and the relationship sounds irreparable. If ever there was a time to deal him and get as close of value as you'll ever get for him, now is the time. There was a rumor today that SF was willing to offer Jimmy G, multiple other high end players off their roster, the #3 pick and future 1st round picks for ARod. He's a valuable piece. They wouldn't be able to handle the backlash from the fans for trading him, but they put themselves in this position by drafting Love last year in 1st and then not getting ARod any WR help this offseason in FA (a year where the value was insane from a team perspective for these guys). Just dumb.
kgarrett12486
Profootballtalk's Mike Florio reports Aaron Rodgers "could be traded this weekend." Florio's report is via a "source with knowledge of dynamics." Meanwhile, FOX's Jay Glazer reports he believes Rodgers is "strongly convicted that he doesn’t want to go back to Packers." ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Rodgers' unhappiness is "about way more than a new contract." The Packers are predictably putting on a brave public face and insisting Rodgers will remain with the team for 2021. Piecing together past hour of reports, it would appear the sides were engaged in rocky extension talks that have since broken down, seemingly all the way down. Profootballtalk's Mike Florio reports Aaron Rodgers' trade "wish list" is the 49ers, Broncos and Raiders. ravishingone
I hope Rodgers gets traded to LV. I doubt the Pack would do it. Gruden would give the farm up to get him. I view the Pack as the greatest threat to the Bucs in the NFC. Let the Jordan Love era begin.
