You all  watch NFL games every week. Not just the Packers, right?

Then, you see how often WRs are wide open. No guy within 5+ yards of them. Yet, our guys are almost always covered tightly. Aaron has to be perfect with his throws.

Why is that? Have our WRs been that bad over the years? Or do you think it's more Mac not scheming these guys to get open?

The lack of creativity in this offense has been pathetic for years. Thankfully, Aaron is Aaron and covers a TON of Mac's warts. One of Mac's biggest downfalls is his stubbornness. He literally expects guys to line up and beat their guy one on one, every play.

I notice this on TV and it was very apparent in person. The WRs just run down the field and turn around. DBs are draped on them.

That’s a great point as well. You see it with other teams , and a lot of teams against us. Easy completions because guys are schemed open. I haven’t seen that with us lately.

you'll have to ask vince, his words, not mine.

Actually, his quote was “Winning is not a sometime thing…it's an all the time thing"

He also said "Winners never quit and quitters never win". McCarthy's playcalling sure seemed like he quit.

There is a zero percent chance of MM being fired after the season.  That is the simple reality of this situation, so IMO trying to justify a different viewpoint on this subject is pointless.

You are correct.  But people need to/want to vent and the internet GB Packer forums seem to be a good place for that.  I am fine with people taking it out on their keyboards and some unknown usernames vs doing something much more drastic.

sorry, red sanders. Still, an inane argument that's happening here...

If MM is as good of a coach as his winning percentage indicates, then a .500 record with Hundley as the QB should not be out of the question.

no, definitely not out of the question. Depends on on a lot of things though, however. But this seems like a reasonable goal.

winning isn't everything it's the only thing

or something like that

Yes it is THE ONLY THING.

But winning what?

The NFC North?

Vince never celebrated his 11-2-1 1963 season record, because it did not end in a championship and I seriously doubt he'd be celebrating the "winning" the Packers have done since the 2010 season.

Imagine MMs offense against Doms defense ?? Two forces against each other, who would prevail? Would we finally see some open receivers against Doms swiss cheese scheme or would Dom prevail against the "run out 10 yards and turn around" MM scheme?

Edit: to make it fair, Rodgers cant play.
