I think he ends up in Minnesota, Sacramento, or Portland. With Minnesota being the most likely destination, imo. Another interesting aspect in this is that Rich Paul said he wants Maxey out of Philadelphia as well. They've said it will likely take a third team and I think if Minnesota is going to acquire him then Edwards will have to be their center piece.

If I were Philadelphia I'd be interested in a deal with the Wolves.

76ers receive: Anthony Edwards, Malik Beasley, Taurean Prince, 2022 1st round pick, 2024 1st round pick, 2026 1st round swap

Minnesota receives: Ben Simmons, Tyrese Maxey

Not a chance the Wolves trade Anthony Edwards.

With his latest shenanigans, I think Simmons fanboys have officially reached 0.

Not a fan of Ben Simmons at all but he's 25 years old and very good at everything outside of shooting. Philadelphia isn't going to get a huge haul for him but he's still a valuable piece. Philadelphia was the #1 seed in the East last year and people are claiming they'd rather have Anthony Edwards who was one of the most inefficient scorers in the league, the literal worst defender overall in the league, on a 23 win team. lol.

Kings unlikely to part with De'Aaron Fox or Tyrese Haliburton for Ben Simmons

The 76ers were widely believed to be holding out for a chance to acquire Damian Lillard from the Portland Trail Blazers, but Lillard recently said he isn’t leaving Portland, “not right now at least.” As for Sacramento, sources have suggested the 76ers would only be willing to consider an offer that includes De’Aaron Fox or Tyrese Haliburton. The Kings are unlikely to part with either player, but they can offer Buddy Hield, a prolific 3-point shooter who would space the floor for Joel Embiid; Marvin Bagley III, a former No. 2 pick who has yet to reach his potential; and other assets, including multiple first-round draft picks

The Rockets received Dipo, Olynyk, and Exum plus a ton of draft capital for James Harden because they waited so long, none of those players are even on their team anymore.

Haliburton/Buddy and picks is probably the best package that they're going to get. I think Haliburton would make a major leap being able to play on ball.

If I am the Sixers, I am getting something done with Minny to get Edwards.  I think that is the best fit for both teams.  Edwards, Pat Beverly, Malik Beasley and some picks for Simmons and Maxey.  Ben with D Russ and Towns makes MN a team that could make some noise, especially if Ben gets those others to try on D.

A starting 5 of Beverley, Beasley, Edwards, Harris, Embiid is solid with Thyebull and Curry coming off the bench.  I think the 76ers lose that trade unless Edwards really improves but still a better built team around Embiid.

I’d just keep edwards then. For sureee

Edwards has the potential, sure, but Simmons has what that team needs right now. A true passing PG playmaker and defense.  Simmons is established and aside from his 4 game stretch, is still a top 20 player in this league.  On top of that, Simmons is good friends with Russell and KAT, meaning they can keep their core together and happy for a long time.  I think having someone who has been on winning teams like Ben would really help KAT and DRuss develop especially on the defensive end.

I have become a fanboy.  People dump on Ben because of some free throws but he wasn't the only player that struggled against the Hawks.  His defense on Trae Young was better than any other player on that team, he led them in assists and defensive +/-.  The 76ers organization and teammates shenanigans made me not a fan at all of them or the organization.  Throwing one player/teammates under the bus like that is ridiculous.  If you want him to be better, hype him up and be a teammate or coach instead of just saying its all his fault and then wondering why he doesn't want to play with you anymore. The organization and Doc and Embiid are more clowns IMO for how they handled it.

Toronto is one of the most interested suitors but don't want to trade Siakam.

Raptors receive: Ben Simmons, Tyrese Maxey

76ers receive: Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, 2022 1st round pick, 2024 1st round pick

not a chance I would do that as a Raps fan
