Some of you might have seen me nerd out on Mass Effect in the Buzz thread and I figured we should have a better place for this! Do some fan casting, talk about changes you would want them to make to fit the medium, etc etc. My top choices are: Mass Effect - live action TV series on HBO Fire Emblem: Three Houses - Anime Uncharted - live action TV series (I know we are getting prequel movies but I am not jazzed) Bioshock - live action TV series Star Wars: The Old Republic - trilogy of movies League of Legends - Anime Warcraft - Netflix animated (like Dragon Prince if anyone is familiar) How about the upcoming adaptations; do we like or hate that they are coming? Sllim Pickens Posted July 1, 2021 Share Posted July 1, 2021 Fallout was the first thing that came to mind that could be a series. Uncharted as well with the seasons being the different games. However Uncharted games are pretty much a movie anyways with not overly difficult gameplay so not sure it would get much better in live action. I had not heard about the borderlands movie but that could be interesting. They need to get the humor right because that is what made the game great and the lack of it in Borderlands 3 is what made me lose interest much quicker than with 2. Destiny is something they could make a movie or series of movies about. They would have a lot of creative freedom since the story is not overly in depth or connected but they idea and characters would be interesting. They did a poor job telling the story in the games so maybe taking the lore and making it visual and pieced together will help. PARROTHEAD Posted July 1, 2021 Share Posted July 1, 2021 Mafia 1 or 2. 1930s with 1 or 40s/50s with 2 Mob show would be killer. Even having one come out in the 1970s to match the next game would be great if the Casino movie can be the benchmark. Red Dead picking up with Jack Marston where the game left off. Far Cry 3 or 4. And should probably happen just for production cost sake. Just jungle and huts. Star Wars. Dash Rendar series. Assassins Creed. Black Flag. Cause Im Caribbean and needs pirates in my life.
