Guessing someone's role in the middle of the day for no reason other than my own enjoyment seems a bit different than getting information that directly affects decisions made on the final day. I guess if you don't pay attention for the first few days you might not get that. like I said. play how you want for your enjoyment and allow others to play how they like for their enjoyment. if you want or expect everyone to play the same generic way, what fun would that be?? Since you've now shifted to this debate, rather than the differences between what we were previously talking about; play to your wincon. Helping mafia as town is antithetical to that. If that brings you joy, so be it. But you probably shouldn't play for the other team because of what's happened in the last nine (or whatever he said it was) games. I am not sure why you can't see the issue with letting players play how they want to play.
