I looked it up… Dallas has made 5 October and November trades over the 3 seasons before this one.

Who knows why Dallas isn’t the ultimate destination for every trade, but it’s certainly not due to an unwillingness to make moves at this time of year.

Facts be damned tho. Lets run off pure emotion!

So because fans would like to see the team get an impact player on the defense, they are “running on pure emotion”? Lol.

It’s well known this team is great at the draft but leaves a lot to be desired at FA or trades.

Wanting to improve the team is not the emotional part. Freaking out that “Dallas does nothing”, because they didn’t trade 2 top-100 picks for half a season from a declining player is the emotional part.

They’ve regularly made deadline trades, including a blockbuster one for Amari Cooper, and got really close on others like Earl Thomas and Jamaal Adams, and fans act like our front office dgaf about adding talent. It’s just not true, not based in reality.

And the thing is, using at least the two example players you mentioned, neither would have done squat to move us forward (at that time). Our issues of years past is/was so much bigger than not trading for a player(s). Not to mention most of the time, said player is not worth what was given. I would have been pissed giving two---2 draft day picks for Miller.

And they at least inquired about Miller.

I'd say our recent free agent class has paid dividends.

And in hindsight, the Adams trade would have been absolutely terrible for us.

This is sad, especially for the person who lost his life. All of this could’ve been avoided if Ruggs used the NFL’s driver service or called an Uber smh.

I wonder how long he’s going to be suspended for.

Well he is likely going to prison for manslaughter, so at least a couple years until he can get an early release. Just my guess, @The_Slamman would probably have better insight.
