I'm saying if he we played with a run focused identity and Gannon mixed things up more like he has the past few weeks we would be able to upset one of those teams and maybe two of them. We absolutely should've beat the Chargers if Gannon wasn't so bad. We put way too much on Hurts early in the year having him pass 30-40 times in games.

The defensive scheme still sucks - we played against Goff who sucks, Teddy who sucks and Sieman who is garbage and the whole narrative has changed. Let us not forget that any good quarterback we’ve played against has shredded this defense.

This is correct. We could have stolen 1-2 of those games with better approach and play calling, easy.

What narrative? I'm not acting like we have a world beating defense lmao. We are a scrappy team with holes in the middle of our defense and a bend but don't break mentality. Our offense dominates on the ground and tries to win time of possession. We've cut back big time on penalties like @Nabbs4u mentioned. Gannon has been trying more stuff these past weeks and the defense has been more disciplined along with getting timely turnovers. We just need him to be semi competent with how he was calling the defense in a couple games and we could've probably pulled out an upset or two and Chargers was definitely a prime example.
