Udoh beating him out in training camp, so Davis starts the year on the bench? Fine. No issues with that. But if Udoh is not starting at RG, and Davis isn’t listed anywhere on the injury report, then there is zero excuse to play someone else. With no Swift for Detroit, and Tomlinson and Pierce in the middle, the linebackers should still be able to make some plays today. Hopefully we get to see a bit of Surratt on defense. This shuffling of o-linemen to positions they’ve never played is becoming commonplace with this staff, and the results really haven’t been good.
