Rolni Posted January 28, 2022 Share Posted January 28, 2022 I just hope that Mark Davis and Marcel Reece (can't believe that guy is a prominent advisor...) won't mess up the GM hire, because of a guy like JMD. I get that JMD and his scheme on offense could mean a happy Carr and a relevant Raiders O in the short term, but since the Patriots are a below average drafting team and last years FA spending spree was too expensive for my taste I do not want Ziegler at GM. Dodds or Hunt would be a much better option IMO. I could believe those guys could guide is into the right direction. I would much rather have either of these guys and even a rookie HC like M.Mcdaniel/D.Ryans, then the BB tree... Yeah in 2022 we would be worse, but the long term future would be brighter IMO. Reece, a former average FB, being Davis main advisor as we prepare to make two of, if not the, most important hires in franchise history is odd, lol. I like the move for them to sign both of the tight ends, signing Nelly was a good move in theory, and obviously I like the matt Judon signing.
