So Atlanta is supposed to sit on Ryan's contract while absorbing Deshaun Watson's? Doesn't seem likely. The Cap hit that ATL takes from Matt Ryan is substantial. Whether they believe it or not, a 37 year old Former MVP QB does still hold weight.

Most likely the report is nonsense, but if it goes down, Matt Ryan changes teams at the same time.

Yeah, Ryan has to go somewhere or get cut but it 98.5% won't be the Texans.

The radio station owned by the Texans is one of my sources (along with the usual Schefters, and such) There are even reports on who the young players are, at least for NO and Atlanta.

More than likely, it's going to be a 3-team deal if Atlanta is involved. Indy is the name being put out there the most.

I've been hearing what they're saying, but no, Pitts and Terrell are basically the only untouchables right now for the Falcons in terms of trades. Even for Watson.

99.9% they had to get his permission.

even still, with how Baker is reacting after 4 years in Cleveland.. It seems Baker feels disrespected.

Matt Ryan surely has to feel some type of way after 14 years in ATL. And in granting permission, are we sure Matt Ryan isn’t ready for a divorce too?

It's the best decision for both parties. ATL isn't close to being a contender and Matt doesn't have much time left.
