Lovie's son Miles? (might not be ready for that role but I wouldnt be surprised if Lovie makes him DC)

I'm assuming Lovie plans on calling plays? If so, you can get away with hiring a young DC to develop if he has the right skills.

Options at DC?

Miles Smith, current LB coach (Lovie’s son).

Gotta figure there’s some concessions from the organization to entice Lovie to be the next fall guy… Lovie gets set up to fail, and his son gets to add DC to his resume.

Have to assume it's one of these. I could see it being someone currently on staff who has the title while Lovie calls plays. Miles would make sense if that's the case, although I'd love to bring in Marinelli.

Mine Munchak is out there right?

Absolutely.... just looking at Lovie's history.

Warhop was with JAX last year and with Lovie in TB.

So availability + knowledge of AFC Souf ;) + history with new HC = educated guess

Also, let's be real... this team is NOT hiring the best coaches right now.  Just looking to who is available and in need of NFL employment (I wouldn't say our targets are desperate, but not far from there... lol)

I think calling a defense as a head coach is harder, a lot harder, than calling plays on offense.

Lovie is calling plays.

He also mentioned he wants Josh McCown on his staff.
