Moving forward, all these crazy contracts are going to make draft picks even more valuable.  Too bad we dont have any 1sts for a while.  Oh well.

Please draft a WR in the 2nd.  There will be good ones there

What are we going to do about DE and DT?

This does not exactly sound like a formula for success.

Look at my draft Bruce

We would have a 15 to 20 ranked

Just a prediction:

Detroit trades for Baker. There’s the Dorsey connection + Campbell and Baker being compliments personality wise. Baker could do a lot better in a dome.

I don’t see it. They already have Goff. There’s not much of a difference between the two so why even bother giving up an asset for baker? Plus his 18M.

Agree. The only way he goes to detroit is of we pay a good chunk of his salary.

He will be a Brown until he either takes a pay cut or a contender's qb gets hurt.

He can't take a pay cut, it's against the rules of the 5th year option...

He isn't going to Detroit because Goff counts for 31 million against the cap and his contract pretty much makes him untradable/uncutable this year.

So he cant sign a contract that halves how much he gets paid?

The only thing we can then do is get another team to pick it up?

Yeah, I believe so.

The 5th year option is usually used to extend contract talks. Which is why we used it. Changing plans afterwards isn't a great idea. But here we are.
