He was mostly solid at it — but again, I guess I get back to the question of whether we’re trying to win or trying to save money and go young. They let Bryce Callahan come off the board, after the same with Tavon Young. Bringing in nobody and saying, well we can slide Holcomb is incredibly dumb. You again are trying to force a player into a position that isnt natural for them. Clearly not adding someone to this LB room was a mistake. Also, taking someone who isnt a natural Middle Linebacker and swapping them with someone who isnt a natural Middle Linebacker seems like the typical thing we would do. This justification doesn't fly with me. Our "base" is a 4-3. You need 3 linebackers of starting caliber. Currently we have 2 (maybe just 1).
