The amount of TE that are being connected is kind of surprising wonder if they plan on letting knox walk. I figure Sweeney is gone this year or next so the position may be weak if knox does leave

I thinks it’s certainly an insurance policy in case Knox does leave, but even if they re-sign him Howard and Sweeney are free agents also. So at this point, Morris is the only TE under contract past 2022

I have a hunch that Muma will be our pick at 57 if he's there. I am indifferent. Do you think he can become a starting MLB in our system if Edmonds is gone next year? Most write ups I have seen on him have him projected as an OLB.

I haven't looked into too many LB yet and how they might fit. I have a feeling whoever we take will give us a good idea as to which of Edmunds/Milano they may move on from next off-season. Hard to imagine we pay two off the ball LB's  over 13 million each.

I think hes more of a thumper MLB. I like him, might need some work in coverage, especially against faster TE but for next year can step into the role AJ Klein had last year. Better against the run then in coverage but from what I'm gathering, hes not a liability in coverage

I'd be good with him at 57

Fairly deep class, both Nakobe Dean and Devin Lloyd had 1st round grades then you got Muma, Troy Andersen, Christian Harris from Bama all decent

My favorite LB prospect is Leo Chenal from Wisconsin. Jack Sanborn also from Wisconsin is a name to watch towards the later rounds

I think LB and TE are two positions we take earlier than most expect.

I agree, I think if Nakobe Dean falls to 25 we should take him..

My wishlist at 25 within reason

CB Trent McDuffie

LB Devin Lloyd

LB Nakobe Dean

WR Jameson Williams

CB Andrew Booth Jr

WR Treylon Burks

WR Jahan Dotson

At 57 within reason

RB Breece Hall

CB Kyler Gordon

LB Leo Chenal

CB Roger McCreary

WR Skyy Moore

CB/S Jalen Pitre

LB Chad Muma

TE Trey McBride

TE Jalen Wydermyer

I'm warming up to Breece Hall at 25 but I'd welcome trading back for him for another mid round pick

Right now a dream of mine that will be reflected in my mock is trading back with Seattle, getting both their 2's and going Breece Hall, Kyle Gordon and then either Muma or Anderson at 57.

Grab a WR in Round 3 and we're set.

This is where I am at as well. Ideally a trade back if the top tier guys are gone and land a couple of Day 2 picks, I like the Seattle option a lot. I also would like to think if we did this that we can also turn our day 3 picks in to an option for day 2 as well by moving up in round 3 and keep our 3rd to be drafting 4 times Day 2. This will clear some of those excess draft picks who would likely not make the roster and could give us 4 core guys who can contribute day 1 but also be long term answers for those positions who may be leaving.

Dont sleep on safety as an option early too.

So many mocks from last week have us moving around.. Kair Elam has been the most commonly mocked player last week.

A couple mock drafts online had us trading up with Washington for Derek Stingley and Trent McDuffie.

Another interesting mock had us trading back with Detroit

Detroit trading 1(32) and 3(97) for 25 with us taking Kyler Gordon at 32. This is my favorite scenario as with having multiple 3s we could move around for Breece Hall
