In Theory then, you could use Tua week 1, Teddy week 2 and Thompson week 3, even if Tua started all 3 games.

In Theory then, you could use Tua week 1, Teddy week 2 and Thompson week 3, even if Tua started all 3 games. If Tua were starting all 3 games, you'd never pick either Teddy or Skylar. You'd only potentially pick Teddy or Skylar if Tua were not starting. You have to make your pick prior to the game, so you'd never know that the starter would get injured. That's what happened to me, I was still stuck with Garoppolo's 150 or so yards that game and then I theoretically could have picked Nick Mullens the next week (but I think I took him late in the season) because Jimmy G was known to be out of the season. In this particular case, no one is likely to take Teddy or Skylar because they have no idea whether they're going to start...and if they pick them and Tua starts, they'd get stuck with the 0 yards that they'd get for them...they wouldn't get Tua's yards. You're picking the player, not the team. Edited October 12, 2022 by swede700

vike daddy
Bills quarterback Josh Allen came into the 2022 season as one of the favorites to be named the NFL’s MVP and performances like the one he turned in against the Steelers in Week Five are the reason he’s in that position. Allen hit wide receiver Gabe Davis with a 98-yard touchdown pass on Buffalo’s third offensive snap and didn’t slow down from there. Allen went 20-of-31 for 424 yards, four touchdowns, and an interception during a 38-3 win that moved the Bills to 4-1 on the season. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/10/12/josh-allen-is-the-afc-offensive-player-of-the-week-5/

They'd set themselves up to get a 0. That'd be like voting for myself for US Senate, it'd be a waste.
SemperFeist
Why are you picking individual quarterbacks if the rules are essentially picking a team’s total passing? Might as well be picking teams each week. Edited October 13, 2022 by SemperFeist
