Until you actually watch him play. Isabella has gotten several seasons worth of chances and injuries have consistently pushed him up the depth chart. He is late to adjust to the football on deep passes. He has stopped running during routes a number of times. He often uses the "alligator arm" method of attempting to catch the ball. He's a small-framed body-catcher.

What I WILL say: he's dangerous if you can get him a runway in space. If you find him uncovered on a CB blitz, he'll take it pretty far. He was chased down from behind a lot during this past preseason, though. Notably like 3 times during the Titans game.

Just what we would need, another smallish receiver who can't separate. 😅

Are you gonna go full PlagiaristTayne and add my story to your erotic memoirs?

How dare you. There's one thing I'll never be, and that's a plagiarist.

Andy Isabella and Tayne are Eskimo brothers, so I wish him luck.

Is he no good as a PR/KR as well?

He's okay. Wasn't able to keep the KR/PR job despite not having a role on offense. He just doesn't have the lateral movement ability that you expect of a guy his size; lost the jobs to Edmonds, Eno, Moore, and Dortch in separate years. But all of those guys have a lot of wiggle to their game.

He's not as fast as his 40, but he should be able to fill in as a returner. I think his career long is 32, but also he never managed to keep that role so it's a small sample size. He had an 88 yard reception in 2019 against the 49ers, so maybe he could take one back for a TD. However, that was his only deep touchdown of his career and he got chased down from behind a lot without having make-you-miss skills.
