🤣😂 Maybe Barry read our posts...

Will he really change it though? Why wait 5 games to do it? Why can fans see it but a supposed expert can’t? Or has MLF just gotten into his ear enough after each game that he has to change or be fired?

You might want to watch the presser; the media tweets are very miss leading to what he said.

Well that doesn't sound particularly awesome. Hopefully he practices today.

Toe injuries seem like they could get reaggravated easily and become a nuisance for the rest of the year. Hope they give him time to heal properly.

I would say the same if Gutey had added a competent 3rd EDGE guy this off-season. Instead, he went with the "hope and pray" solution of Garvin and Enagbare and it's going just as expected: That duo has 1 pressure through 5 games in 64 rush snaps.

There's a good argument that Gary is the No. 2 most important player on this team. As currently constructed, EDGE is a position where we cannot afford any injuries to the top 2 guys, especially him.

Agree, which is why resting him one week to get him right makes sense. Rather than having the issue linger and hinder him all season.

I'll defer to the medical people on that one. If Gary can go, you play him. If he's hurt and can't play, don't play him.

Immediately thought this was the likely route after he hurt his hammy for the 2nd time in a few weeks. Thought we would have seen the move by now, but we could still see the Packers shelf Watson for 4 weeks. Next week, Watkins is eligible to return from IR but who knows if he's ready. We joke every year about the Packers trading for a WR at the deadline but this year, injuries may actually force some type of a move because right now its Lazard, Cobb and Doubs and that's pretty much it.

This is more and more looking like a lost rookie season for Watson.
