Im pretty sure he’s younger right now then Joe Burrow was when he got drafted. Fields isn’t a good QB right now, but we’ll never find out if he can be with that trash roster that is the Chicago Bears. If Fields was good you’d see it. He’s not. Can he improve? Sure. But he’s got way too many noticeable flaws that have nothing to do with what’s around him.

He looks better than Zach Wilson would look if he were on the Bears. and for some reason the Jets are deciding to surround Wilson with talent. Football is a dependent sport. You don’t know what you have until you’ve got enough talent to judge. Bears don’t have that. You would need Tom Brady in his prime for that offense to look legit. Were a lot of people who thought Fields was special coming out of the draft. Bears answer finally to the revolving door at QB. Ignored the fact he's from OSU. Just like they will again with CJ Stroud this year. Oh wait, he to is probably not like the rest, special.. 👌 Edited October 15, 2022 by Nabbs4u

First of all Zach Wilson has nothing to do with this. Second Zach’s best ball last year was with Braxton Berrios as his #1 receiver. Then you mention Tom Brady. Fields is garbage right now. Fields has to improve, the Bears have to add talent but guess what guys were open last night and he missed them, countless times. Because that’s who HE is as a player and that has nothing to do with the Bears, Nagy, Wilson, Brady or anyone but him. Y’all want this dude to be good so bad. When I realized Darnold just couldn’t improve I washed my hands with it. Everyone said he’d go to Carolina with all those weapons and thrive. Now he’s a back up to another QB a team who needed one gave up on. He’s gotten multiple coaches fired. Fields might improve next year and it’ll have little to do with what’s around him. You’ll see enough traits no matter who’s around him but he’s a product of a power 5 school that only thrived when he had the deck stacked against his opponent.
