What about reverses to possession receivers no kick return background(in Multiple games)? That's BS too right? How about no points in the second half twice this year against two teams that are below .500? Part of the narrative right?

What would we I had said last year if John Gruden or Greg Olsen had a game where they never passed the 50 yard line? is that too speculative?

What does kick return background have to do with reverses? The team under Gruden had the same issues, we'd start hot when we were using the game script and then just go ultra conservative and let teams back into the game.

Like Mcdaniels last week and against the Cards and against the Chiefs. Thats the point i'm making... Both do the same thing. One is considered a washed up TV personality the other one is just implementing his vision lol

Great, we are now on to whataboutism now 🙄

Lol that's just a fancy way of saying you don't have an answer. Why is one in the offensive mastermind and the other one to wash up TV personality if the problems are the same?

Both had extremely flawed rosters with terrible defenses that lacked depth across the board led by an average QB.

This season Carr has a 5/0 TD/INT ratio with the lead or tied and a 6/5 TD/INT ratio when we're trailing. He has a 101 QBR with 7 TD/2 INT in the first half of games and a 76 QBR with 4 TD/3 INT in the second half.

The real kicker though is how terrible he has been in late game situations.

Trailing with under 4 min left: 9/29 (31%), 120 yards, 1 TD, 56.7 QBR

Trailing with under 2 min left: 4/16 (25%), 32 yards, 1 TD, 60.4 QBR

Do you think part of that could be because, when trailing with little time left, teams know you are forced to pass?
Therefore the pin their ears back and rush the QB.

We have a bad oline to begin with, so when people pin their ears, it gets even more exposed?

Is that a rational thought? or no, just all 100% carrs fault.

Our offensive line and weapons were worse last season and he was great in a lot of clutch moments. The difference is that Carr was more comfortable in the system so he was willing to make more aggressive throws late in games. Dude was lobbing balls up to Edwards/Zay in the clutch. This year he just looks like he's overthinking and isn't really in tune with what JMD wants him to do.

but as you showed, he has been playing preety solid in the first half. 101 rating, 7/2 int. . .

is he just not comfortbale in the second half system?
How can he look so good one half, terrible the other. . . and it be not comfortable in teh system?

Carr and the offense were great under Gruden when they were able to follow the game script as well. As soon as it came time to adjust we've struggled. So it leads to the question of if it's the coaches or if Carr just struggles when teams adjust to what we want to do or he has to play off script? Carr has never been good at extending plays or playing outside the structure of the offense, if the scheme doesn't get someone open it's usually not going to end well if Carr is forced to make a play.

He has had his fair share of moments, but ive always said its easy to lead the league in comeback wins / 4th q  combacks, when ever win you get was in a close game, where you didnt have the lead all 4th q.

Half of TB wins probably dont qualify for comeback wins, if not more. Same with Rodgers id bet.
Raiders literally blow no one out, so if Carr has 50 wins, 45 are probably 1 score games, and 35 of them probably came down to last drive.

I agree with this.
I think JMD really thought that with Adams Renforw and Waller, hed legit be able to scheme someone open every time.
Heck just have waller run straight down the seem, and have both Adams and Renfrow on options route, sounds pretty automatic to me lol

Carr has been money in those situations up until this year.
