well, i'm having a great season as a Vikings fan. enjoy your cold gruel.

I’m not saying anyone in here is the same way but this comment reminded me of some people on a different sport forum website who are fans of the Minnesota Wild but would get more excitement outta the Wild losing and being right about it over the team actually doing well.

I still think this team has a shot at a SB (we'll host at least 1 playoff game). But it's clear that we need to stay healthy, not enough depth behind starters like Darrisaw, DT, etc.

If we get a W on Thursday, this loss will sting way less.

Lost Darrisaw. Belichick is going to have his defense feast on Thursday.

Difference is that New England's offense sucks. We'll likely be able to have a more balanced attack on offense and not just let them pin their ears back. Since Cousins has been a Viking our biggest weakness has always been passing against the blitz, he's just not good at maneuvering around in the pocket.

I think they’re pretty good at running the ball though.

Thursday is a must win game. Good teams don’t lose back to back.

I’d agree with this statement.

Feel like there are some really big flaws on the offense that have been covered up by some fourth quarter heroics. If Jefferson doesn’t get going, what is the offense?

need to fix this, but I think many have been concerned about the offense throughout the course of the game.

New England is going to be a challenge defensively but that offense looks terrible.

Nah, their rushing attack is nowhere near Dallas. Both the run blocking and backs are superior for the Cowboys.

I hate taking away a players best plays but it seems Cook is either striking out of hitting a big one. Would it be fair to say he’s having a down year from a consistency standpoint?

He’s been decidedly average. Certainly not worth his salary.

I was referring to NE in my statement, but I think that's an accurate statement. Could be scheme-related. Let's not forget Cook should've had another really long TD in Miami, but he got tripped.

Watching some of the highlights, for Dallas, the Vikings have little to no speed on defense.

That's probably why they've been playing so much shell coverage. We've been getting some timely turnovers which has masked the problems with the secondary. Sucks that Cine got hurt, he's a really good athlete who could've given us a boost.
