MKnight82
@ny92mike I don't know a better way to show you the math other than this: Base Salary B-Gtg. Signing Bonus Non-Prorated Cap Number Me in Excel $144,865,029 $26,347,450 $41,938,074 $23,134,690 $209,935,293 OTC $144,745,029 $26,347,450 $41,935,574 $23,134,690 $208,451,469 TCMD $150,953,129 $26,347,450 $41,938,074 $23,134,690 $216,025,893 Forget the dead money and rookie pools right now, this is just Washington's salaries and cap numbers. When I copied your numbers into excel I am not getting the same amount that you are showing, and the number I calculated is much closer to OTC. So here is the number of top 51 base salaries with everything else removed. $144,865,029 Looks good to me.

I updated the second year roster formulas as well for WAS workbook. If you guys are good with these new values, I'll start updating the other workbooks. Again, really appreciate you guys helping out. ny92mike
@MKnight82 @JetsandI While I've got you. Thoughts on voided contracts. When I cut players with voided contracts in OTC calculator page it shows the dead money from their current signing bonuses but it isn't changing their cap. This could be just pushing the entire amount of what should be dead money to the next season, not really sure if there is some special adjustment to the dead money for voided years, if so I'm not finding any guideline on this. I'm fine with forcing the dead money onto this year's cap, formulas are set up for that, or can push it to the future years. I'm good either way, just looking for some suggestions on this issue. How is it correct? The workbook I have still shows top 51 total cap hit of $213,468,598 when it should be around $209-$208ish. On a separate note it looks like you fixed the CUT function to calculate properly.
MKnight82
Even if you're including the rookie pool. Then it should be $209ish + $9.5ish mil = $219ish mil total cap hit
mountainpd
Got home and read hundreds of messages. great to see people raising concerns in a friendly manner. plenty of time before mock to get stuff fixed and everyone has opportunities to raise any issues. once any problems are fixed I am happy to help if I can with any questions people may have. Look at the cell next to the top 51. V3 It's calculating just the top 51 base salary. It isn't accounting for the SB for rookies, dead money, carryover. It's the same number you are coming up with. Not an issue at this point. Got plenty of time to work it out. Just glad it was found now rather than the day of.

The $213 number is not correct somehow.
MKnight82
@ny92mike the U3 cell includes S11-S247 so it is including the rookie pool.

V3 is the one I did to remove all the additional cost. V3 is just the top 51 base salary. U3 contains everything.
