Disappointed.  I had concerns that Gannon would go soft zone again.  I also had concerns with the officiating and how the Chiefs seem to be the new Patriots.  And both happened.  This is gonna sting.  For a while.  Exciting but also incomplete year for me.  
 

Tarheels- 15 point lead at halftime.  Lose Natty

Phillies- Win game 1 of the WS.  Lose

Eagles, handling the Chiefs in the first half.  Lose.  
 

Ugghh.

Theres also the Smith catch getting overturned. They were pretty surely going to score 7 there. But after they had to prolong the drive, they ran out of time and settled for 3.

3 more ties, but 4 more would have won it.

 

That call didnt happen right at the end of the game, but it was just about as much of a killer as the defensive holding in the end.

 

Cant spend too much time bishing about refs though because eagles had opportunities. That hurts fumble for 1. But I am completely bewildered how not 1 player ever made a single play on defense.

I am really curious to see what we do next season. Seems both coordinators are gone. We have A LOT of free agents. Jalen getting PAID. Shall be very interesting.

Theyll take a step backwards next year because of all the defensive free agents.

But with Howie as GM and Hurts at QB, theyll be back on the way up soon.

If you would've told me Hurts had 122 more passing yards than Mahomes I would've expected we won, but Chiefs run defense did a good job holding us to 3.6 YPC vs. the Chiefs 6.1.

Well that was awful. What a way for our Kelce to go out. This team is going to look so different next year. We let this game slip away after halftime. Jfc Gannon is so frustrating with his play calling.

We have the best QB in the NFC, assuming Rodgers' MVP days are officially behind him regardless of what team he plays for next season.

We have the best OL in the NFL, probably even if Kelce hangs em up.

We have Devonta, AJ, and Goedert.

And we just narrowly missed winning the SB even with our defense playing like dook because of that offense.

Steichen leaving will be interesting.
