Really interesting to see how clutch the eagles offense was. The 3rd/4th down conversion rate was 2nd in a super bowl only to the 2017/18 winning eagles team.

That offense was literally unbeatable in that game. Tonight, was the next best clutch performance ever in a super bowl.

And somehow, the other team still scored more points than us this time.

I guess, whats better than being great on 3rd and 4th downs, is not even needing 3 down. The Chiefs pretty much moved it down the field with no resistance most of the night.

In all fairness our offense gave up 7 points and our ST essentially gave up 3 but you could argue giving Mahomes the ball that close it was just 7.

Our D was still terrible though. And with the guys we had out there it wasn’t a talent issue. Coaching speaks. Offense was well coached, but the defense? Well…. Ya.

I was praying that Arizona would steal Gannon from us, but after this performance idk if it will happen. That was just embarrassing from our D. Gannon has never once made our guys look good vs a good QB.

I feel more so that the defensive free agents will be easier to keep.

Each and every individual let me down more than Gannon did tonight. Hes still a sought after coach.

I think we open the bank for Bradberry and Gardner-Johnson.

For the rest- if youre White, Edwards, Cox, Suh, Joseph, Epps- How are you going anywhere and asking for a big bag after tonight? You didnt make a single play.

Maybe Hargrave is the only one who can go elsewhere for big money. He still had a great season and is young enough to earn a nice contract. The rest are old, and underwhelmed tonight. With that said, Id be pretty happy to have most of them as cheap band-aids while we try to draft their replacements.

I think Im going to go try to sleep.

Lucky tomorrow is a busy morning. Get kids ready for school. Grocery shop. Probably furniture shopping as well. Then a littlr work in the afternoon.

Not much more time to dwell on this.  Plenty to get my mind off of it. Just gotta try to fall asleep.

Wish we had a better result, but been a pleasure to be able to watch and discuss the game with all of you tonight.

At some point, the guys on defense have to make a play, and Patrick Mahomes was sacked zero, nada, nothing.

Ya but why aren’t we doing more to get home? Why are we just lining up as 4 and rushing when it just isn’t working? At some point you have to do something as a coach when your guys aren’t getting the job done.

the two blown assignments on the goal line were pathetic enough. This stuff all comes back to the coach. Sure the guys needed to do more, but that means the coach didn’t put them in the right spots to make those plays. We all know this D had the talent to get the job done. They just didn’t.

This. Players didn’t suddenly all forget how to move, tackle, pass rush, etc. No doubt players must get a share of the blame since they’re the ones on the field, but Mahomes and KC clearly had this D figured out by 3rd quarter and it didn’t look like we ever countered.

Who would have thought, Andy Reid adjustments and commitment to the running game would beat the Eagles in a Super Bowl.
