Each year the internet gets crappier to use.

 

Does anyone have a top 30 list that is a list, and not a stupid wordy article with a video and no actual list?

Follow Steph Sanchez, she keeps an updated list each year. 

I asked barrows yesterday and he also is getting a list together that I'm assuming he'll release when all prospects are known

Thanks, I should finally download a twitter.  I'm not really sure what to do with it.  If I keep it 49er related I might actually enjoy it. 

If I just follow 49ers stuff, will it only show me 49ers stuff?  I am having algorithm problems at the moment.  Every app I download changes.  I download insta and only follow surfing content.  Two weeks later it is only fans ads.  It doesn't matter how I interact with the app, it will either show me OF stuff, or anti-only fans content.  I hate it, and had to delete the whole app.

Tik Tok is the same, but politics.  It picks a political category then hammers down that content.  The first account was race, the second was anti-red, the third was anti-blue, so I stopped downloading tik tok.  I generally follow restoration, cleanup, etc videos on TikTok

I have no social media profile larger than this place here. It is my go to for all things 9ers. This is it. Nothing else. Keeping it simple and loving it. Well, okay I do watch Chapman.

Top 30 Breakdown.....

Evan Anderson.

 

Impressions:  He is stumpy.  Like a 0 tech in the 3-4.  He does not have an explosive first step, but he plays leverage well.  He can typically get to a shoulder and advance his position.  He has good hands for a guy his size and he is strong.  He holds up.  I see how the front office would see him as a possible back up option for Hargrave. 

 

Anyone wondering what his zone coverage skills are like, go to the 2:50 mark.

 

6:10.  He is playing between the guard and tackle on this play.  You can see him identify the guard's leverage, but he just isn't quite quick enough to turn the corner.  He does however make the OT's day a little worse.

He doesn't play every snap, but he seems consistent from rep to rep.  He can't move or dance well but he is able to get consistent push.  He can get to the guard if needed, but isn't a  huge threat to get immediate pressure in that situation.  

Even as a specialist, he could have good value.  If there is unlocked athletic potential here he would either he gets stronger and more specialized as a NT lined up on the center, or more agile to get around the corner and be more versatile agains the pass.  Projecting athletic development is not something I generally try to do though.

This is my go to as well.  I have a Facebook, I have it to talk to my 10-20 long distance relatives and close friends.  In reality it is about 500 people I hardly know, and content from random ad creators.  There is some good 9er content, but lots and lots of click bait.  

I like Chapman, Wayne, Johnny Del, Steph Sanchez and the Podcast guys also.  

I think I will continue to take the less is more approach.

I'm starting to feel like the 49ers are going to not draft an offensive lineman at 31. It seems like they are trying to get comfortable with the third tier of offensive tackles in the second and third-round range.

 

The other possibility is the 49ers looking at the trade-back option at 31 to draft an offensive tackle in the 40 range with a quarterback-needy team trading up to 31.

1:39, check out how he reads out this play from Safety(deep center).  He eyes the running back, but shades to the receiver.  Is this instincts or prep/coaching?  

I officially have my first draft crush.  The guy is Deebo on defense.  A NB who plays like a LB.  Holy Run fits batman.  

3:35 He is the Nickel back on this play.  He plays leverage really well.  Is he designed to be the force defender on this play, or does he understand defense so well he just gets to the outside?  He was toying with the dude trying to block him.  

4:03 Watch how he runs the wheel route.  He stays tight to the tackle, until the linebacker fully turns his hips, then burns right past him to the open part of the field, leaving the QB an easy and predictable throw.  Who is this dude?!

5:01 angle route?!

5'11" 210.  Classic 49ers DB. The 4.62 40 was surprising.  I thought he was faster, he seems to be running away from dudes out there.  

I shouldn't get too attached though, Jim Harbaugh is back in the NFL, and will probably draft this guy before we can.

yeah I watch Chapman and Kreuger (except when he has some guests I loathe).  Oh, and Man Talks Sports, guy is hilarious.
